Dear young feminists!
We are thrilled to announce that registration for the 2016 AWID Forum is now open again!
The Forum will be held from 8-11 September in Brazil, and is quickly positioning itself as the place to be in 2016. Some 2,000 participants from many different women’s rights and social justice movements will come together to learn from and strategize with each other, strengthen solidarity, get inspired, and leverage our diverse, collective power for feminist futures.
After postponing the Forum and paying close attention to issues around the Zika virus outbreak, we believe that risks to Forum participants can be minimized to such a degree that the risks are far outweighed by the opportunity and importance of coming together face-to-face at this vital and historic global gathering – you won’t want to miss it.
In the midst of a complex and important time in Brazil, we look forward to fostering a vibrant community in Costa do Sauípe, Bahía.
Don’t get left behind! Registration is already halfway full and the remaining spots will be going fast. Register now, and remember to book your stay at the Costa do Sauípe resort at the same time. To secure your spot, please be prepared to pay online.
Become a member and get a discount on registration!
We’re excited to meet everyone in Brazil!
